With more than 10 years’ experience in the bridge construction industry, the team at DC Projects has the knowledge and equipment to safely and efficiently build bridges across Australia. While we are based in Geelong, our team has easy access to any bridge throughout Victoria and interstate.
We can work with consultants and structural engineers to design, supply and construct a wide range of bridges. As a pre-qualified VicRoads and Austroads contractor and an accredited VicTrack contractor, we’ve worked on timber, steel and concrete bridge construction projects.
As well as extensive professional experience, our bridge builders hold all the relevant qualifications and accreditation, including:
- EWP, skid steer and excavator licenses
- Traffic Control and Traffic Management (CCF)
- Environmental Management and Controls on Construction Sites.
DC Projects is accredited with VicRoads and Austroads Pre-Qualification for Road & Bridge Construction B1 – R1 – F2 – up to $2 million.
Efficient bridge construction with unique under-bridge platform
At DC Projects, we offer professional operators and cutting-edge technology, giving us an edge over our competitors. Having worked with various VicRoads regions across a diverse range of bridge repair and construction projects, we know how to minimise traffic disruptions and road closures while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Our under-bridge platform erects in a single lane in just five minutes, allowing bridge workers and materials simultaneously under a bridge. With a weight-bearing capacity of up to 455 kilograms, a maximum length of 9.7 metres, adjustable drop depth up to 5.5 metres and 180 degrees platform rotation – our under-bridge unit offers maximum flexibility in compliance with Australian Standards.
